Method, rates and limits

This tool uses the SARS transfer-duty rates for the 2026/27 tax year and the Deeds Registries fee schedule effective from April 2026. Attorney-fee estimates use the Law Society of South Africa’s 2026 conveyancing guideline structure; they are not prescribed fees. Actual invoices may include VAT, disbursements, rates-clearance charges, FICA, electronic filing and lender-specific charges that differ by transaction.
